If you know someone who has done inside wiring that would be my guess as to doing it appropriately. Don't want you to get zapped.
ironing problem. Can I iron on my kitchen counter and what to use
I assume you want to install an outlet on the opposite side. The safest way is to hire an electrician. It does not sound like you know too much about electrical work. There are many things to consider, their than how to get to the other side. 1) How many other outlets are already connected to this one. 2) What is connected to this particular outlet--does it initiate from the kitchen, where appliances are connected 3) how many amps is the circuit breaker--what will you be using this outlet for?
