not sure how big the lights are but I use this idea for jack-o-lanterns in the fall and you can really do it any time. I make a small pedestal, using a 1X1 as the stake, (I cut the bottom at an angle for ease in driving into the ground). You can make these short or tall. I secure at piece of plywood (can be any size you like but 4X4 is usually big enough) by screwing it down through to the top of the stake. I paint them all black or dark green so at night with the lantern on top, they look like they are floating and during the day, it just blends with everything else.
I love the pedestal idea! A few others are: use tiki lights stands, without the tiki, the torch on top. I like the stands with mosquito repellent in them, and they leave lots of room to attach strings of lights. The metal stands with one or two big hooks for hanging baskets or hummingbird feeders are very durable. And if you have access to sugar cane or plain cane, you can use stalks of these, trimmed or not trimmed. Best wishes đ
