Water spots on electric stove top

When steaming or simmering, water condenses on lid, and drops on stove top. I can't remove spots. Tried lemon juice, baking powder, vinegar, but still have spots. Any ideas?

What kind of stove top do you have?
Not knowing what kind of stove this is, I guess it might be sealed. I have one and when all fails I buy glass top stove cleaner at Home Depot or bed bath and beyond. It's kind of pasty but comes with a scrubber. Apply, lightly scrub, rinse and dry with a towel. Maybe white toothpaste would work
Try steam cleaning the stove top.
Try rubbing alcohol. Makes mine look new.
