DIY Pallet Furniture
Search on Hometalk! I just saw that someone made deck furniture out of pallets. It looked really sturdy and the finished product was beautiful! And you can usually get pallets for free.
In lots of tropical areas, the beds, couches and tables are made of cement to fight the heat, wind, and salt air. This might be an idea for you to explore. Cement furniture would not freeze, would be more durable than wood or most metals, and can be stained, painted and decorated to be very attractive. I really think I need to come examine your situation in person. I would only need to stay as long as it is 90-100* in Dallas, Texas! Ha ha. Best wishes đŸ˜‡

Find the pallat idea on DYI and attach them to your outside wall
After living many years on Vancouver Island in Canada, I do not agree with the comments about making patio furniture out of old pallets. The salt in the air and the wet winds, are very hard on anything wooden that is outside. Unless the wood has been properly treated for this climate, and you are prepared for a great deal of maintenance, then although the idea is trendy right not, I would say don't waste your time.
If your budget allows it, plan for plexiglass panels inserted in between rust proof and mould proof half walls or deck railing (such as powder coated aluminium) facing the best view.
