Sounds great to me, so that you can use the room for something else when you don't have guests! Now I want one!
It's a great option. You can use the room for other activities when you don't have guests. Just be sure to have storage places for anything that would get in the way of letting the bed down.
Yes, if you want to use the room for other purposes when you don't have guests.
We love ours. It allows us to use the room for other things such as: putting the grandbaby's Pack n Play up for nap time (too young to sleep in a regular bed); using the space for temporary overflow from other rooms; as an extension of my craft/sewing room; extra storage; etc.
We have one, and even moved it from our previous house to the house we are in now. We don't have many overnight guests, but rather than devote an entire room to a bed, this gives us the flexibility of having one when needed, and also giving us the space to use for other things in the meantime. You'll not regret it!
I adore my Murphy bed> Great for our short visits from relatives. My grandchildren think its the greatest thing since television. Easy to strip, change
sheets, hide for more space. Had mine since 2004 and I have never regretted it.
Yes, why not. great space saver when not in use.
Most definitely. They can be expensive but here's a vidhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfgLghN39PM&teo that will show you how to DIY your own -
Great option.
