"Best" varies by individual preference and environment. I like Swedish ivy, African Violet, and Philodrendon. I have just bought a Purple Waffle and have yet to decide on that.
golden pothos is a verigated plant similar to philodendron. It doesn't need alot of light, easy to maintain. Good luck!
aloe. it provides great oxygen and it is a moisture plant. emits moisture into the air. AND can use in the bathroom
Sansevieria works great with little light and minimum care and even if you abuse it , it will still live..and call you Mommy.
