Momacita, I think the best way to hang them in a pleasing yet unusual way has to do with the hardware used to hang them, as well as the angles and drape of the fabric when hung, so I am posting below a weblink that has tons of ideas for you to choose from, many of which could be modified to suit your personal taste. I hope the link is of some help to you as far as what you may want to do with what you have (by the way, it struck me strange to see the name you used here, because that's the name my daughter uses for me LOL) .... Good Luck with your project and thanks for using Hometalk as a point of reference :)
Many years ago I saw what I think is a very easy curtain display as it used only one length of fabric. The woman put two tie backs (the type used to hold curtains back on the sides) on either side of the top of the window. She draped the fabric over one of them, then the other. Of course the fabric has to be arranged so that it goes to the floor (my preference) or to the windowsill. You arrange a draped effect in the middle top. It really depends on the size of your windows and what type of curtains you like. One time I needed a curtain for privacy on an interior French door. I sewed big sections of red, white and blue fabric together, gathered the curtain on rods, upper and lower and that was it.
Hi Momacita22 - it really depends on what windows you are going to use because there are so many different style windows, different sizes etc etc. Also, it depends on the fabric you use i.e. cotton, voiles etc etc - What style too - contemporary, modern etc But... here are a few pictures and a link that may give you some inspiration Here are a few ideas for you.
