Hi :) I have a link below where someone actually decided to do a test on their floor with the same type of problem, and they used several different methods to compare which worked best. It turned out naval jelly and barkeepers friend were the ones used (with explanation as to why barkeepers friend had to be used in some areas). Hope this helps you:
