This could also be caused by Whiteflies!You don't show a picture,but if it is underneath the leaves, and they fly around when you hose off,that's your problem!Whiteflies will suck the moisture out of the leaves turning them yellow,caterpillers on the other hand eat" the leaves, look closely at the damage done, you don't state, then treat accordingly!
