Oh goodness. I would guess the yard is not fenced, otherwise I would suggest "snake fencing" - have you tried peppermint oil yet?
Scattering moth balls around where you don't want them works well.They can't stand the smell.You could also plant mint around your camp to keep them out.Hope you find a solution that works for ya'll. π
I have them in my well house. I sprinkle some moth balls and that seems to keep them away.
Go to Pinterest and search snake repellent. Excellent recipe there.

HI there, my mom and I always used sulfer, it burns the snakes belly, they detect it and won't cross.
Plant lemongrass they don't like the smell of it and I'll stay away
Hi Missy, sprinkling coarse salt around the perimeter of your yard works well also, they will not cross over it.
