Looks like parsley to me, but there are many woodland plants that look that way. Here is a link to goldenseal for you. Place in a ziplock bag and taketo a local nursery, they might be able to identify, or your local Ag Extension.

It looks like celeriac - a form of celery. Best way to identify is by websites showing pictures of herbal plants, wildflowers, etc. native to your state
I replanted it in another part of the yard. i just took more pictures. I guess I should water it.
Does it get little pink flowers late spring to early summer? If so it could be Spotted Cranesbill.
I just looked at a photo of Golden Seal and it sure looks like it. Does it get white flowers and a red seed pod or berry?
I will go back out and look. There is a bunch of it. Brb. Maybe I will do a video. I went to the above link, I have serious migraines and seizures. I also black out at times. I called them "time jumps". My job asked me to retire because of it, its kind of depressing, but oh well, I didn't know all this was in my yard. Maybe this plant can help me? I take a whole lot of pills!!!!
