Is it made of fiberglass or plastic?
Define resurface. clean and brighten to look new, or change completely. Both are available, the former as a kit at any big box home store. The latter is available as epoxy paint, specifically formulated for sinks and tubs, in a limited range of colors. I redid my pink tub to white with very satisfactory results. Also available from the home stores, possibly on line purchase.
