che k out Angie's List or similar offerings for suggestion/recommendations on local businesses.
Every time I need a quote on something I go to Home Depo or Lowes and ask for help. The contract out workers, and I've had very good luck. I had granite installed in kitchen, a deck built and tile laid in all bathrooms. Three different companies did great work.
Angie's List
Hello Denise; I have had Great luck going to Home Depot and Ace Hardware. I have receive so much help that way.
Also, I would contact several Handy men. I would read up, and make sure that they know what they are doing. I would get several quotes/bids from them.
Make sure that they listen to you, and are willing to do what you want done.
Not what they 'think' needs to be done!!!
I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!
I am in the Atlanta area and have recently been using HomeAdvisors as my go-to for small jobs. They will put you in contact with at least three companies that will give you online quotes. Sometimes, you only need a Handyman and they represent them, too. Just set your price range and have them work within it. (P.S. The Handymen are less expensive than the large contractors.)
