Hello Mary, Moles travel a lot on their bellies. So it sounds like you have moles. You can spread shredded Irish Spring bar soap in your flower beds. You can shred them on a box grater or even a food processor. Moles and other small animals hate the smell and taste of the soap and will move right out. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
