How to Make Infused Oils: Cook Like a Pro

Infused oils are a simple way to create great flavor in any dish you prepare. Use rosemary oil with fresh pasta dishes, hot chili oil to give roasted green beans extra zip and garlic oil to flavor meat, poultry or homemade salad dressings. The list of ways to use these wonderful bursts of flavor could go on and on. Buying them in the store can get pricey. The great news is they are very simple to make. Try a few of your own and create additional layers of flavor in your recipes with only a minimal amount of effort. But dont tell anyone, leave them wondering how you learned to cook so well.
Chili peppers, garlic, and rosemary are three of my favorite herbs for cooking. Herbs are the simplest to use and require only fresh herbs, clean and dry..see here for more instructions http://puregracefarms.com/summer-in-the-pantry/how-to-make-infused-oil/
After oil is infused with your favorite herbs and spices it's a snap to add layers of flavor to whatever I am whipping up in the kitchen.
An added benefit is the beautiful jewels of color your infused oils create. Makes for a wonderful gift too.

Thank you Shari, that is so sweet of you. I will probably take you up on that, since I'm just learning about herbs and layering the flavors. Thanks again.
