What is the white fluffy powdery stuff on my asiatic lilies?

I get this white fluffy looking powdery stuff on my Asiatic lilies every year. It comes off on your finger if you touch it and it doesn't look like insects to me. First of all I'd like to know what it is and second how to get rid of it?

My guess off the top of my head is mildew - are you in a humid or damp climate?
It sounds like powdery mildew. Spray it off or use copper sulfide

mealy bugs?
It is most likely powdery mold. When watering, water in the mornings if possible and do not spray directly on the plants but near their base. There is a company called "Safers" that manufacturers a fungicidal soap, it is harmless to people, pets and the environment. I have used it myself with great success on powdery mold.
Sounds like it might be mealy bugs
