Minuet Stephens on Feb 10, 2014I bought a 2 pot tub recoat (White Knight I think) and did my basin. Make sure you sand it back, and then sand it back again before you start. It's not a perfect finish (hard to avoid drips, and it's not hardy at all - a dropped hairbrush brush chipped it. It's okay for a quick makeover but will tenants take enough care to keep it looking good? The paint wasn't cheap - but I don't know what the cost is to have it professionally done either.Helpful Reply

Patricia Miller-Darrow on Feb 10, 2014You know I just went to Sherwin Williams. We sanded the tub the best we could electric sander. and painted the tub 3 years ago. It still looks good and no peeling! The expensive tub kit peeled almost immediately. and we followed those directions well.Helpful Reply
