Victoria Larsen Stencils on Feb 12, 2014Allowing the paint to dry first will give you defined "spots". Sponging on the next color before the first color dries will give you a blended look. I always recommend trying your techniques on cardboard first so you know exactly what the finish will look like. It gives you the opportunity to experiment and play with colors, sponging techniques and placement before applying it to the permanet area.Helpful Reply
