You cannot ,thats a job for a professional
You need to borrow or rent a carpet kicker. Do you know how to use one? Or call a local carpet layer and see how much they charge to come out and move all your stuff, restretch the carpet and re position furniture.

Step 1: Pull back the carpet and pad. 1: Peel back the old carpet. Step 2: Remove old tack strips and replace with new ones. . Step 3: Remove the old tack strips. Step 4: Reset the carpet and stretch it. . Step 5: Carpet stretching sequence. Save. Step 5: Finish with the carpet cutter. Save.
Thank you all for your help. I don't think a carpet kicker is the answer for us cause we are both disabled, but I will call a local carpet layer and see how much they will charge, move stuff, etc.. I hope it's not too much cause we rent but it will be worth checking into.
