it will be very hard to match them at this point. Thinking you might have to repaint them all or how about painting the top cabinets a totally different color?
I tried to paint mine and I couldn't get them to match the other cabinets plus the paint chipped after awhile. I ended up replacing the doors on the two cabinets so they would match the newer cabinets.
Chalk paint goes on anything and no prep required except washing.
I would not try to match old with new. It can be a frustrating process. Rather, try a contrast. Many kitchens today have the bottom contrast with the top. Black and white, grey and black or white. Sage is also a good look. Whatever colors you are trying to get in your home.
