I'm assuming you want to clean it up and repaint it? I recently did this with a metal work table my husband has. I washed it first since it had grubby stuff on it, Then I took a wire brush from the Dollar Tree, scrubbing off all the rust. Then I used Rustoleum primer and finished it with the color he wanted. Rustoleum is available in spray paint and brush on paint. It's holding up great!
You can paint rusted furniture to restore it. Start by using a wire brush to remove the loose rust, then sand with 80 to 100 grit sandpaper. Wipe the surface clean with acetone and allow to dry. Next, spray the piece with rust-resistant primer. Once that's dry, finish by applying light coats of an outdoor spray paint.
use WD40 if not bad or repaint with Paint for Metal after you have Wire Brushed off all loose flakes.
Use a wire brush to get rid of rust. Wash it good and dry it good. Then rub iwth oil
I use naval jelly on rusted metal . Spray paint with Rustolium to prevent further damage .
Thank you friends. You really helped 😊
