Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and apply it to the glass and after a day wipe it off with a plastic scrubby. If this did not cure it, reapply you mixture and with a spray bottle rewet your vinegar mixture. Don't give up.
White vinegar....I use it for everything, including final rinse in laundry. Leaves clothes soft, no smell.
Hello Judy; I have hard water, so I know what you are going through.....
What I personally do is this.
I wash my windows well with dawn dishwashing soap and water.
I towel dry them with a clean old cotton tee shirt.
I then use white vinegar and I use an old cotton tee shirt I get the shirt wet, and I wipe the windows until they sparkle!!!
I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!
If you know someone who has a steam cleaner that you could borrow or you can purchase one...steam cleaners are known for cleaning windows well.
try white vinegar. Not sure if it will help. IF you can lay the w dows down, pour some vinegar on the spots and let it soak
how about vinegar/alchol/and a touch of dawn in a spray bottle
i use vinegar for a lot of cleaning projects. Let it sit on the spot for a few minutes then dry with a paper towel.
it may have 'etched' the glass --try CLR, or good Toilet bowl cleaner
White vinegar, water 50/50 a dab of blue dawn dish soap and a dab of jet dry
Try using denatured alcohol. You can get it at any of the big box or local hardware stores.
