You can buy the sisal twine at Lowe's, all you have to do is wind it around the can from top to bottom, secure with a dab of glue as you go.

Hello Mitzie; I have seen several Lovely crafts using tin cans, as Silverware holders.
The last one that I saw, was made with clean, empty cans, with the labels removed.
Acrylic paints in numerous colors were used on the cans.
They made a Beautiful set and looked so nice on a table.
I saw these on both Pinterest as well as Google!!!
There are many examples, and so many ideas, to reuse and recycle items such as this!!
