While I really like bamboo flooring, and it doesn't scratch like hardwood, I would want to see exterior wearability before I put it on a deck. But if it has a solid warranty, then you could have it replaced if it doesn't work.
Skip the Internet, and go to Homedepot or Lowe's and ask the experts all your questions. They are always glad to help, and they have classes for all types of projects. Go there and get some ideas, you can do this yourself, once you know what you need and how much the materials will cost. In the front of the store where the cashier's are, they have tons of books for home do it yourself projects. Good Luck!
It also depends upon the climate/weather you live in whether
We used the product you were referencing above.
This product and follow up totally sucks. We finally finished our deck in Oct. 2017 and by Feb. 2018 the product had already begun to peel. By April, we had to replace the entire deck. We made SEVERAL and I mean SEVERAL attempts to rectify with the company and needless to say they never showed up. Do not purchase this product unless you want to throw your money right out the window.
The product sucks, and the owner / boss of the company is big cheater and liar - who cheated to his suppliers in China and lied to US Customs and US immigration. The co-conspirator is the Rattan and Wicker Furniture in Minnesota.
I bought it in the summer of 2017 for a porch floor, ie some weather protection. It’s held up and looks ok over 80% of the surface but some is peeling. I plan to touch it up and then put a clear spar polyurethane in it. Thoughts?
