Pouring a concrete countertop should be left to a professional not because it's too hard to figure out, but because -
*The tools needed are specialized.
*The countertop creating supplies are expensive.
*A professional knows little tricks for success
and knows what to do when things go wrong.
And
**When the professional finishes the counter top and there was a huge air bubble in the side that no one saw, The professional has to redo it at no cost to you.
The extra money is totally worth that last bit!

There is a product called Henry's Feather Concrete that does not require a mold. I would highly suggest that your read several articles before doing it.

You should really leave that to a professional. It's a HUGE mistake if you mess up.
