Easy scented soy candles make a perfect addition to your home and also make great gifts! They're also 100% vegan!
1. Gather ingredients
2. Measure out roughly 1/3 of a pound of the wax chips into a microwaveable bowl
3. Microwave for two minutes, checking halfway through. If wax isn't melted in two minutes, microwave for thirty seconds more, repeat until mostly melted (you can stir a few stray chips in if needed). Remove the bowl and stir to dissolve all wax chips
4. Add a few drops of desired scent
5. Pour a small amount of wax into the bottom of the jar. Put wick in holder and place into the jar, roughly center.
6. Pour the rest of the wax into the jar, reposition wick if needed. Place into fridge to set.
7. Once set (in roughly an hour), remove from fridge and trim wick as needed.
8. Take your ribbon (optional) and tie a bow around your jar.
You now have a lovely scented (100% vegan) candle for your home, or to give as a gift!

Have a question about this project?
why wooden wicks?
Hello, on amazon it says that we should soak the wood wick in wax about 5-10 minutes before we put into the jar, do you soak it? we should do that? and some other people say to soak in olive oil, please what do you recommend, I am new in this and since I have some money problems I was thinking to sell some soy candles. Thank you so much for your help.
