Describe the current tiles and the room they are in. The first question would be the effect of raising the floor level by adding another layer -- are you creating a trip hazard?
They are regular 12 X 12 ceramic tiles, in the bathroom. There is space between the door frame and the ceramic, about half an inch, so I don't think I'd be creating a trip hazard. I was wondering if I could just lay on a thin coat of concrete, maybe.
