Do you wan flowers or vegetables?
Google perennials for growing zone 9 to see what choices are available. Then choose based on sun/shade, etc. The things you plant will come back every year. Be sure to add garden soil, compost and mulch as needed.
You can plants or veggies, or both. Just make sure you check your zone to see what grows good in your area. Hope this helps
Hello Sheila; You can easily grown Veggies, Herbs and Flowers.
Please consult with a local nursery. Also, you can purchase your plants there, if you desire or you can grow some veggies easily with seeds.
If I use seeds, I always start them in small pots.
if you wish to grow Herbs, I would suggest that you grow them in pots, as that way you can bring them inside or more them.
I hope that this helps you!!! Have fun with your Garden!!! Take Care!
