You should not add house paint to concrete mix. It will fade, not mix even and shows wear really quick. The proper coloring of concrete is to use powdered concrete coloring, or staining, with the concrete powder mix, or when micing with water. Lowe's or Ace hardware has the concrete stain.
Shirley Gilleland is correct. Do not use paint to mix your concrete. It will weaken the concrete. Either use concrete staining powder, sold in the concrete section of hardware stores, or use concrete paints. It is paint designed to stand up to heavy wear and tear suffered by concrete.
When you go to a hardware or paint store, tell the customer service person about the project for which the paint will be used. There are many kinds of paint and they are not always interchangeable. It is much easier and cheaper to do the project correctly the first time.
