Question concerning a Cleveland Pear Tree
A large portion (almost 1/4 of the trunk and some of the top) fell off during a storm. We painted the open area with latex paint. Question is: will this beautiful tree survive? It's about 14 yrs old.

Trees are hardy, this one should survive and will probably start sprouting new branches next fall. We lost two bradford pears to high winds and storm and i have little bradfords growing all over the front lawn but as for your tree, it should start growing and doing fine.
