It depends on how large a loft you need as well as the materials the walls are made from. Basically, you need to support the floor either by tying it to the existing floor using steel joist holders OR by putting up steel columns.
You are facing serious code and insurance issues if you expect it to be accessible other than simple storage. Go lightly and be well informed.
I would say, if you were planning a twelve foot deep loft, make it two six foot deep lofts, one at each end of the building. The one over the entrance may need to start higher than the other, so plan on a ladder to get around. OR you could build a six foot deep loft on three walls, skipping the entrance wall. Start the loft high enough up that you can stand under it and work in your building. Plan for at least one light plus a fan and a tiny electric heater to make the building accessible all year long. And add a wreath to the door to show you are proud of your building. Best wishes 😇
you can use pallets and good strong rope& may be some 2by 4s
