depending on what you have already, too could paint it, restain it, any number of things.

I’d like to do this, too, but I have a sketch with measurements, a bunch of ideas saved on Pinterest, a budget, and a few trips to Ikea and my local Big Box store to get some ideas and pick the brains of the kitchen planners there.
It's all personal preference actually, and the sky is the limit. Consider what you have in place already, and what you are willing to do to it or do without it. What are you hoping to accomplish with the "redo"?
Some flooring can be put right over vinal flooring tiles saving removal time and money. Look at installation instructions. I have seen ideas to cover laminate counters if you can't afford new counters (like me). Good luck.
