I have a small Hill in my back yard, need direction😀
Hill is small but I have no real idea what to put on it. Also where would I find a couple of young people to assist me? I'm having some trouble with my back.
Go to your nearest nursery. Have them draw up a landscaping plan to put in over a 3-5 year period. Its so worth it for lasting results.....
How small is your yard? Think big when you create. You can section it off to include a nice seating area for relaxing, add a curved corner area for a tall tree with shrubs and mulch, another section for a bird bath and a few flowering plants, and another section for your grill & picnic table. Have fun. Best of luck.
If you could post a picture of what you have now, and some measurements, it would be helpful to others wanting to give you an answer as to what constrains you have to work with and how the space can be improved.
Research plants will thrive in your yard. Do you prefer annuals or perennials? Think about the amount of sun your plants will get in the morning or evening. Rough sketch a diagram of what you would like to have in your yard. Plan according to what you would enjoy. Do you want a water feature? Do you want to watch birds? Plan for a bird feeder and bird houses or humming birds or both. If you can't do everything thing at once, just do what you can and buy things as you can afford them. A nice yard is always a work in progress. The attached pictures are of a small area in my yard. My yard and crafts are my therapy. It is where I can block out worldly distractions and pray to God. I am always on the hunt for things for my yard, either at yard sales, thrift stores or department stores. I try to attach a pic for you but the camera will not open. If you would like one, reply and I will try again.
You can have a small veggie patch and some perennial flowers such as Cliveas, agapanthus, kalanchoe for some colour. For decoration you can put bird bath and some colourful pots with plants.Hope this has helped.
