You can try a mixture of 2 tablespoons of liquid dish soap in one cup of cold water. Apply with a clean cloth. Let set an hour or so, and then sponge off with a wet clean cloth. Hope this works for you.

So many variations in carpets, stains and cleaners. Do stains ever happen in the corner in the dark? No! They like the spotlight. With any stain remover, commercial or homemade, go to one of those corners and test the cleaner on your carpet. If the cleaner removes the color, obviously don't use that one on the stains. A solution of a cup of water, 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide, and a squirt of Dawn works on my current beige carpet. All my stains so far are from popsickle drops and coffee dribbles--hubby and grandchildren stains. So they are sugar, dye, and oil based. Now you get to choose from among those great ideas from Hometalkers! Best wishes 😇

I sprinkle baking soda on the stain, then put white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray a bit on the baking soda so it bubbles and errupts the stain . Let dry and vacuum
