Sprinkle table salt around on floors overnight and vacuum thoroughly. Salt dehydrates fleas and newly hatched eggs. Of course, also use flea treatment on pets and wash bed linens and pet beds etc.
I had the same problem and used 20 Mule Team Borax. Sprinkle on floor and leave 24 hrs. Vacuum. No more fleas!
