Of course with dye you can only dye them darker or a bit brighter. You can't lighten the color with dye.

Just dying them without doing anything to the wood would totally change the look of the shades. I would start there. All you have to do is decide what color you want that would work with the color they are now.

Jac28954485- Did you end up finding a good solution? I just bought and had Hunter Douglas Woven Woods installed. The color has a touch of green now that it was installled... I am thinking of using a Rubio Monocote product to slightly alter the color. Wanted to know if you found success....
