Hello Sheilaharris, We are going to need a little more info. Please re-post and we will be happy to help you.
what about them???
Need to tell us the problem before we can answer.
Wash in the Bath Tub
I would take them outside and spray with a garden hose. Typically most shades just have accumulated dust. If there is any kind of dirt, washing them may push that dirt further into the shade. If the garden hose doesn't clean it, then Chesterduke's plan is best.
can be refurbished...wrap shade frame with string, beads, fabric strips etc.
if it doesn't work after washing try a doily that has hole in center that hangs over bottom of shade .the screw will fit inside hole to,tighten.easy, pesy.
We would need to know what they are made of in order to help you. :)
Depending on what the lampshade is made of, and how dirty, you could try lint sheets. I even use them to clean artificial flowers and it works great!
I would first suggest a light vacuum with a light brush application. a light vinegar and water application may help stains, let set and vacuum. may need a mild soap and mild rinse hang dry depending on how soiled it is and what the fabric is made of. satin or silk may need to go to a cleaners for professional cleaning.
