My dad always dug up one of their holes and put a trap in it. He would then cover the hole with a board and by the next day he had caught it. Not everyone wants to trap them though. Here is an article that might be helpful - http://www.bhg.com/gardening/pests/animal/get-rid-of-moles/ - good luck

Check with your local Agricultural Extension office for ideas that work in your area.

I asked my Mom who lives in a Moley area and she says the people in her area spray their yard to kill grubs. That gets rid of the grubs and their predators which include moles.

The Extension office may have something that's effective and less toxic though.

    Hope that helps

Well I don't know if it will work on moles but seen it for small ground squirrels, Get a big water bottle like for a water fountain. Fill it 3/4 full water, invert into hole and wait. The darn squirrel swam up into the bottle, and was relocated.

Moles love grub worms. If you spray your yard to get rid of the grubs, the moles will truly hate you. No grubs and they'll go elsewhere for their favorite snack.
