Step 1. Install cellular shade into your window.
Step 2. Lower your cellular shade to its longest point.
Step 3. Decide the desired length of your shade. Place a paper clip two pleats below the desired length.
Step 4. Remove both end caps from the bottom of the shade.
Step 5. Slide the rail off the bottom of the shade. This will expose the internal cords.
Step 6. Unwrap the cords from the bottom of the blind and take off plastic buttons. Set aside plastic buttons to be reattached after your cut.
Step 7. Remove the paper clip from the pleat on which you will be cutting. Cut the front of the pleat on the cellular shade, and then cut the back of the pleat. Make sure that you do not cut the cords.
Step 8. Remove the excess fabric from your shade.
Step 9. Slide plastic buttons back through cords, wrap cords back around buttons to secure, cut any excess cords.
Step 10. Pinch two extra pleats together and slide the bottom rail over them
Step 11. Reattach the end caps on the bottom rail
Good luck!
