Put down some red pepper around the area the dogs go. They sniff the red pepper and learn not to go there. May need a few applications.
Have you ever seen signs on grass saying STAY OFF: CHEMICALLY TREATED or MOTION ACTIVATED SPRINKLERS ... etc ? Well, the chemically treated lawn may not be true, but I bet someone walking their dog won't want to take the chance of having their beloved pet on chemically treated grass ... and maybe it would be a good idea to get a motion activated sprinkler so any strays coming along will get a surprise if you aren't there to hose it down when it comes a-tresspassing ;)

OR you could buy a chemical spray that will have to be applied after early morning dew dries up and after every rain ... but who REALLY wants chemicals on their lawn? Good Luck and thanks for using Hometalk! :)
De with the owners. Put up a sign that says, "my property is NOT your dogs bathroom." If that doesn't work, invest in s motion-activated sprinkler. That will teach them!
Put short moveable fencing at least a foot from the shrubs and plants they are doing their duty on, this way they males can't reach it. Our boulevard is lined with mature trees and that is what they use to donate their scent. You must have a lot of dogs walked by you because we have about two dozen throughout the day and never smell the urine. Try spritzing hot sauce with water along the sidewalk/grass edges for a week or so and see if that deters them. If it is consistently done they may learn that your grass is terrible and won't use it. Reinforcement may be necessary down the road a bit. Consistency is needed to train the dogs.
