In case your talking of the reception-
I did an American Gothic 50th Wedding Anniversary. For favors I made Scarecrows out of containers full of M&M's. The tables were covered in checkered cloth with hemmed square jute cloths lain diagonally on top. Glass milk bottles for vases and farm animal shaped salt and pepper shakers.
For the wedding
You could make chair covers using jute with feed sack stencils on it to hang on back of chair, sewn to a more comfortable cotton for the front.
Milk can flower stands would be really cool along with straw bales and galvanized buckets in strategic spots.
The stage where the clergy and the bride and groom stand could be an old wagon with steps up to it. Some shocks of corn could help soften the edges along the wagon.
I hope some of these ideas help get your imagination going! 😊

Here are some really cool links! If choosing a rustic setting, let guests know so the ladies do not turn up in hard to walk on high heels. No one wants to fall over or mess up expensive shoes.

Hello Robin; I have seen the most beautiful ideas, that were inexpensive but did not look that way on a Blog called: Duct Tape and Denim
I have also seen numerous ideas for such Weddings, on Pineterest and Google.
Do you enjoy making crafts?
Do you have any ideas, or thoughts about your Wedding?
How far along are you with the process?
I am asking as I have made most of the items for five Weddings that I have done. This includes the centerpieces, table decorations, favors, Etc.
Make heavy notes. Decide how you wish to spend your money.
It is easy to cut back in some places, and to have extra money on things that you truly want.
If you wish, I will be glad to help you with ideas!!!
I hope that this helps you!!!!!! Take Care!
My grandson had a barn wedding last year and it was just too cool. All of the guests sat at picnic tables since that was what was available in the barn venue. They used grapevine as runners down the tables and homemade lanterns from vegetable cans. Small holes were stamped in the cans, sprayed silver and gold and dried baby's breath was placed around each can as it set within the grapevine. If you can't find runners of grapevine, take wreaths and soak them in the tub overnight and then straighten them out the next day. Works like a charm. Little bags of bird seed sat within the grapevine as well.
Anyway, could go on forever but that gives you an idea.
Just have fun since it is such a special day!!!
Burlap and lace make great barn decor. Use them for table runners with small hay bales, sunflowers, and candles in mason jars. Wood crates on their sides on the cake & food tables, Add the burlap , lace & flowers with mason jars of utensils, etc.
