Sounds like a great project! Finish is off with Dixie Belle Paint for the perfect touch. No priming, sanding, or waxing required.
At work, we did the reverse. We used a file cabinet as a break room kitchen cabinet to store paper plates, disposable utensils and napkins. The two lower drawers held the heavy break room supplies, i.e. Coffee , tea and sugar containers. An artistic co-worker covered these file cabinets with decoupage and sealed it with a clear coat polyurethane . Best looking file cabinets in the building.
