Witch Hat Wreath

I find inspiration everywhere. When I find something I really like, I always try to figure out if I can make it on my own. Not only does it save me a ton of money to DIY things, but I also love the creative challenge of trying to make something from a piece I was inspired by.
To make my version of a Witch Hat Wreath, I used Styrofoam, ribbon, strong jute twine, hot glue and a button.
I cut a hat form out of the Styrofoam and then used hot glue to cover it with the twine. I cut fall colored ribbon into small pieces and make them into bows and glued them to the "brim" of the hat.
In the end, I added a ribbon and "flower" detail on the witch hat. I think it turned out really cut and can be used all the way through Halloween. I made a video of me making the witch hat and put it in my blog post. You can find it here: http://mycreativedays.porch.com/witch-hat-wreath-for-fall/
