You can't use food coloring because it's water based and you're putting it into oil. Oil and water don't mix. I looked on Google for you to see if there was another way and the returns were not too helpful. Remember Citronella oil is yellow so anything you add won't be a true color. Red will end up orange, blue will end up green.

Since Unicorn SPiT is oil based, as are other gel stains and oil paints, you might try that. But that might not be safe. I have bought colored and scented oils when I used to burn an oil lamp and I bought them at Walmart. Best wishes 😇
probably. It won't hurt to try a little.
just saw the comments. I guess not.

Food coloring is either liquid or gel. Normally the liquid is an alcohol and gel won't burn properly either. Have you considered decorating the lamp itself?
very much.
You survived! Yep. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, droughts, earthquakes, snow, sleet, hail, HAIL, rain, deluges. "And that's just before lunch!" But I can balance that with one word: bluebonnets! Have a good day, NC.
