Not sure if you mean you have 87 of them?.. though if this is the case, what i have done with lots of beloved soft toys, some rag dolls, for a look for the 'right' room(this is @ ones descretion), is by using a 3/4cm twine rope, spray paint with coloured cheap hairspray a colour that one likes(i used a light glitter gold..& yes its a good idea doing it outside, rope laid out on paper/plastic and spray allowing to dry 10mins then roll over & repeat; keep doing this until the desired effect is done.. lastly one quick coat of clear paint spray//also rotate ).. then using a large thick hand needle & a decent neutral thick cotton, sew one small section @ the back of dolls/back~ head area on the middle then sew into/onto rope..do this repeated with dolls arms touching each other{perhaps small safety pin their arms holding hands or placing the look with their arms in arms//or both to vary} With as many as you have you may wish to do two lots" of rope,as you will need to have a strong area of a roof section next to the top of a wall to add good medium hooks for hanging///however one can continue buy using large diaper/nappy pins & inbetween the dolls hanging, pin inbetween the feet of two different dolls via the mid section of the top of the head(a bit like brick work )... create loops at your rope ends & sew strong, so to hang on hooks... this gives a lovely look for a boring area of a room. TIP, if one does not like the loop look hang then use a rubber coated neutral hook in the centre to lift the middle giving it a different look by having two smaller hanging half circle drops( l like the one look like a hammok....*or use a hammok if desired though dolls wil need to be stitched into place//arrange so all can be seen... the rope look is very neat & easier to keep clean too..& please arrange dolls in some type of original pattern that one likes before attaching).. additionally to finish use a decent hair spray from a can & spray over dolls; this helps prevent dust build up, thus an ordinary feather duster will keep ALL clean for years...& the look is far more than just interesting:)))
oh- if Primitivies are your thing this is a good place to start, also seasonal ones- halloween witches, snow ladie dolls etc
I've heard of attaching various things to a larger rag doll for a fidget doll for seniors - didn't get details, but you probably could google it
