I'm not sure if you mean the toilet, sink, or tub, but I took a chance on toilet. This article has some tips.

Rent a power snake and snake that line as far as you can go.
Of you have a septic tank, it might need to be suctioned out.
I will ust tell you how I do it...First, do not flush the toilet if the toilet is full of water and etc or it will overflow! Get the plunger out and work it! Over and over even 20 times or more. You should start noticing the water level going down or noise like the mess is going down. Keep pumping that plunger. Someone once recommended drizzling some liquid dish detergent (like a 1/4 cup or more) which they said serves to lubricate the mess to make it go down.
When the water level goes down leaving only solids, you can flush but pump that plunger the whole time it flushes. Continue doing this until it goes away. The only reason it would not go away is if something that doesn't belong in the toilet got in (a hammer, a sanitary napkin, a washcloth, etc). if just, well, you know plus toilet paper, you use the plunger with all your might and it will go down. Good luck!
