Here's a great tutorial on how to add a low-cost wood frame to a builder's grade mirror: http://thefrugalhomemaker.com/2015/02/10/how-to-frame-out-that-builder-basic-bathroom-mirror-for-20-or-less/
Hello Tina, you could put a frame around it. You could glue another (smaller) mirror on top of it. Or you could paint or stencil a frame on it. Best wishes.
You could use gallery glass paint and make a border around the edges. You can use their lead stripping which sticks right to the glass, all whatever colors you want and you can have a stained glass frame. Hobby Lobby carries it and you can find instructions on line. Not that expensive
If you need additional storage at that mirror, you could also include a small shelf on each side, then use matching wood top and bottom to complete the frame around it. Don't even need to have a back on the shelves, mirrored back looks neat too!
