Inside the house, remove all plants and use a bug bomb. Outside, just spray them with ant and roach killer.
find where they are getting in; treat that area with a granular product - Spectra, Bayer, Ortho etc. In the house keep ALL counters spotlessly clean and spray with white vinegar -- repeat until gone -- wont' kill them, but they don't like the odor

Mix half and half boric acid (borax) with sugar.Put it in a jar lid,set it wherever the ants are coming in.They carry it back to the nest and kill the whole colony.
Hope that helps 😊
Ant need a bait system. Something they will take back to the nest. Terro works great on sweet ants.
Mix boric acid powder with sugar. Also, look into something called "chinese chalk".
call an exterminator...I tried every home remedy known, nothing worked until I called for help.
After 8 yrs finally found what worked for me. I Sprayed ammonia around the areas. After two weeks never saw them again.. I think the fumes got to them.
I used the liquid ant killer this Spring to no avail. I ran across this on the internet and it works! Equal parts of baking soda and powdered sugar. Mix well and put out in jar lids wherever you see ants.. I still have it out, but I have not seen an ant in the house since a week after I put it out. (It's been at least 2 months.)
