Some people swear by ketchup, it's okay. I've used toothpaste and baking soda, and that can work, my favorite way to clean metal though is with Bar Keepers Friend. It's been around since the 1800's and is still a great product.

Try vinegar and salt.
vinegar and salt. Or keychup and salt. It works wonders make it nice and shiny
Sprinkle baking soda then spray with vinegar. Wait and wipe down with damp cloth.
Ketchup will work. Think lemon juice and salt will work also.
Also Tomato Juice works well.
