Is gone be okay. I have a plant on putting soil for more than a year and is perfect.
They should be ok for a bit in what you have until someone can get you the proper soil. Aloe is pretty hardy and can survive a lot before it will die.
It should be fine! Can you out it outdoors where it won't be rained on? Sun, no rain and water sparingly is best. Hope you heal quickly 😎

Aloe vera prefers a succulent mixture,as a temporary situation they should remain,however it will be best to plant them in the right soil
My motherin law always just used potting soil and hers grew beautifully and for a long time
I always use regular potting soil and not only are mine growing like crazy , they're reproducing .
